Home > About Us About Laskar Music Laskar Music, a division of Laskar Group, LLC, was formed as an entity to house and administer the music and publishing catalogues of world renowned producers and artists with which it has worked over the years. The company's division has since grown to serve two main purposes: Act as a management body to represent the best interest of it's artists and composers Facilitate the provision of projects to it's producers and artists, who share a unified vision in developing a creative medium integrating the audio and visual experience Laskar Music has had the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading theatrical, multimedia developers, print and graphic designers, web design and developers, and traditional canvas painters in providing a rich aural experience to coincide with a given piece's message and overall impact. Whether it is the integration of hip hop into the backdrop for a theatrical presentation for Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, the coupling of global beat DJ's with traditional canvas-based painters in the formulation of events to raise cultural awareness, or teaming video content developers with musical composers who would otherwise never collaborate, Laskar Music's goal is to challenge convention in a transparent manner while being careful to not sacrifice the integrity of artistic approach, expression, and validity. In order to better provide services for it's artists, in 2005, Laskar Music launched it's own label, Flatbush Junction Recordings.
